I’m William, and I like to tell stories.

Born in Huntsville, Alabama and raised in Mons, Belgium until I was eleven. My dad was an army officer, we travelled a lot. I spent most of my time drawing and writing stories and reading big books and watching movies.

Eventually everything clicked together and I decided I wanted to tell stories through the lens of camera. This led me to SCAD, where I learned every facet of film production from budgeting and scheduling to cinematography, lighting, and directing actors, to editing sound and music and properly color correcting footage. While there, I learned about and fell in love with French New Wave and Italian Neo-Realist cinema, and gained a new appreciation for the old Samurai films and Spaghetti westerns and Space Operas that I grew up with.

Professionally, I use my skills and knowledge to create authentic and truthful content that captivates audiences and meets clients’ various unique goals. I largely focus on documentary style content, but I love digging into scripted content and planning out complex scenes whenever I get the chance. Currently, I work primarily as a director and producer for advertisements and corporate videos, but love solving puzzles and taking on new and challenging projects. Someday I hope to direct a Star Wars film (or at least a behind-the-scenes documentary!)
